About Fireplaces

~This article just gives a summary of the history of the fireplace and it's transition to various uses such as, an outdoor fireplace.~

Fireplaces, originally built into a home, were used as a source of heat as well as some cooking. Traditionally, they were a sort of appliance that would enable a home to safely conduct a fire.

In more modern times now, a fireplace can be used for more than warmth in a home and not so much for cooking. Fireplaces have even evolved to be built outside of the home. Since they are often mesmerizing due to their flames and the "warmth" they add, fireplaces are thought of as a place used for conversations, celebrations and other intimate activities. That's why it's no surprise now that outdoor fireplaces are becoming more frequent as they provide a comfortable and cozy backdrop to any small parties or barbeques outside.
